Munich Tool Library
The Munich Tool Library is the city’s first community-based lending service for tools, machines, cleaning devices, party gear, and event equipment. Our mission: make access to equipment easy, affordable, and circular.
Founded in 2021 by the non-profit Erfindergarden Foundation, our goal is to empower people to build, repair, and create — without needing to own everything. We believe access to tools should be a right, not a luxury.
Our Impact-Driven Mission
We are committed to resource-saving, climate-friendly, and socially just urban development.
Our impact: More people in Munich share tools, repair things themselves, and embrace a more sustainable lifestyle.
